I plan to be there long as it don't rain.  At the current rate maybe we'll get some more snow, got about 2" yesterday but the ground isn't good and froze yet, maybe by Friday.  Should be able to round up a couple more.

Eric/Don,

Good to see you guys again, it was a good day of riding.  Seems strange though as I think we were the only group of quads/side by sides.  I don't understand why... it was so warm out!  Others must not have any dedication.  I'm glad the hills didn't get any slicker though.

I learned one lesson though, don't set the parking brake on the haul home when it's only 15 degrees out, good chance the brakes will freeze.

Glad you guys had a good day of riding. I stayed in the house and watched football. Seems the older I get the less cold weather riding I do but you guys wouldn't understand that,,yet. Some of our people went down to Interlake and spent the day, said they had a great time as well. One reported his quads were frozen to the trailer when he got home and wouldn't move, I wonder if his brakes were frozen as well. I think one of the coldest rides I have ever been on was the ride Mike lead a few years ago. Started out great with decent temps. for January then it started raining and then turned to a frigid blowing snow. Was still a very enjoyable ride.

February of 2006 - http://mtr.iswired.com/album-list.asp?album=18&pict=1

The only good thing about that day was the lunch stop with chili and a hot wood stove.

Chuck and I rode that route in January to check milage and we wore light jackets.  Then ride day comes, temps in the 20's with snow and freezing rain.

The photo's bring back the memory, made a chill run up my spine. It was still a great ride but I wouldn't want to do it again.
