dec befor xmas stone mtn black mtns got hammerd by snow.. some places got 5 inches some got over 20......then in jan we got a 11 day cold spell lows below 0 highs in the teens an a few smaller snows... then it warmed up... just in time for the big one... here at my house we got all most a foot..stone mtn had 14 inces at the top.. an little black western faceing slop had over 16 inches..high knob not open to atvs.. the rangers reported over 20 inches heres some pics... both snows i never seen the first atv i rode bout 50 miles.. both rides..plus some trails r still blocked.. untill we can clear them all some routes r blocked till spring time i guess.. or when more locals get out an ride......
